Use botanicals you collect yourself or those provided by the instructor to make unique prints that may be used as cards, stationary, or framed art. This class takes a while to complete, but there will be a 2 hour break while the prints process. There are some great places nearby to have lunch or to shop while you wait, but you won’t want to miss the “reveal” during the last hour of class!

 In this 3 hour workshop we will experiment with two styles of transferring photos to non-standard surfaces. One will use acrylic paint to transfer photos to paper/wood/natural fibers. The other process will transfer to a hot press paper pre-coated with watercolor which can then be mounted on a wood panel.

Cyanotypes are one of the earliest forms of photography.  They are easy and fun to do for both adults and children. In this class we will be experimenting with  “found objects” to create an abstract photogram style of sunprint on either paper or fabric.

In this 4 hour workshop, students learn how to transfer photos to non-standard surfaces using two different techniques. Both processes use materials that are easily accessible and can be implemented for a variety of surfaces. Sample images, transfer mediums, transfer surfaces including a 4” wood panel are included.
